September 28, 2026 – I had a photoshoot with Lila while I was trying to finish a book because she arranged herself on the couch right next to me and gave me so many cute poses! Giving you only one of these photos is heartbreaking.
September 29, 2026 – A bedazzling night with Bri! I am working on the spine of one of my copies of Anne of Green Gables. I don’t love the design of this spine, so it needs a little jazzing up.
September 30, 2026 – Is it embarrassing for your mom to take a photo of you while you’re on a Zoom call with your colleagues? Oops.
October 1, 2026 – If you’re wondering what FaceTiming with me is like, I’m basically just flipping the screen around to show Lila in a COMPLETELY NORMAL POSITION and cooing, “Look at the cutest thing you’ve ever seen!!!”
October 2, 2026 – I had to be presentable on a Friday because I had a client call, which is very unusual for me. The Friday before I leave for vacation, no less! Ah, well. I looked cute, so I had to document it.
Programming note: I will be taking a blog break while I enjoy my New England road trip with my mom! I thought about doing real-time blogging during the trip, but I really want to disconnect and unwind. I’ll be sharing photos on Instagram, and I’ll pop in here next Saturday with two weeks’ worth of photos to share with you guys. 🙂
Oooh! Have a GREAT TIME!!! When I went to Indiana over the summer for my son’s wedding, I thought of course I would be blogging while I was there- but nope! Sometimes you just need to live life instead of talking about it all the time, lol.
Ha, that cats. Sometimes of of mine will be in a cute pose, so I take a picture. But then they shift into an EVEN CUTER position, so I take another, but then they shift AGAIN and it’s even better… so I end up with like 20 photos of a cat, basically in the same pose with slight variations.
Tell Chip to behave himself while you’re gone!!!
OMG that photo of you is so pretty. You look great! Your hair! Your skin! Your everything!!! (that looks like I have a grammatical error, so I feel like I should discuss it. I mean your “everything” not you’re everything. Although, wait, that sounds like I’m discounting you in some way. How about both your everything and you’re everything? That’s better and now I am going to go pour another cup of coffee.)

Such cute photos. I considered sitting on the couch to watch the Bears game, but alas, I’d decided to wash the kitchen floor and empty the mudroom (guess who threw away like 8 pairs of the boys’ shoes – and Tank wears a size 15, so these were taking up a lot of real estate), so I stayed the course and tackled my projects. I’m cracking up at your zooms including screen switching to observe your cuties. The pumpkin collar is too cute.
