I’ve seen these posts on Lisa’s blog from time and time and I thought the day before I left on a fun cruise would be the perfect time to do one of my own!
Today, I am looking forward to making it through my “Friday” and spending the evening packing and preparing to leave on my second cruise of this year. There is something extra special about that day-before-vacation feeling and I’m going to try to not wish today away, as I know Monday will sneak up on me and it’ll be back to real life.
This week, I am looking forward to my cruise! (That was an easy one!) I am so looking forward to spending a long weekend on the ship. I plan to spend a lot of time reading, journaling, and relaxing. With an earlier dinner time, my mom and I also hope to catch more of the nightly entertainment. (We’ve only had the late dining option on our past two cruises, which means we miss a lot of the nightly entertainment.) This is my last big vacation of the year so I want to soak it in and enjoy the moments.
This month, I am looking forward to getting back on track with healthy eating and exercise – as well as completing another “30-Day Shred” Challenge in July. I’ve fallen completely off the wagon with healthy eating in the past few weeks. My scale is not my friend. But I’ve started making plans and figuring out ways to keep me motivated to live a healthier lifestyle when I get back from my cruise. One of my better ideas: another “Thirty Day Shred” challenge. I did this in May 2010 with so-so results, so I figure combining the challenge with more exercising and eating better? I should see much better results this time around.
I’m just ready to stop playing around with my health and get serious. I’m really growing tired of being disappointed in myself and annoyed at my reflection.
This year, I am looking forward to moving to a new apartment and my 25th birthday. My mom and I have been planning a move since we signed our lease back in September. We’re not happy with our apartment management but with my new job, I was hesitant to move somewhere new. But we are ready for a new place, updated appliances, AND FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY A WASHER/DRYER IN OUR APARTMENT. I’m excited about apartment hunting and moving. (Yes, I’m a weirdo who actually enjoys moving!)
And also, my twenty-fifth birthday. A big part of me wants to spend a long weekend in NYC because hello, it’s my 25th birthday! But I’m not sure I can really afford NYC and all the travels I want to do in 2013. So I’m still pondering what I want to do. (Blogger weekend anybody?)
What are you looking forward to today, this week, this month, and this year?

Oh fun, I love doing my looking forward posts! It reminds you of what you have to look forward to! That is exciting that you will be moving – I hope you find a place with in unit w/d. It’s life changing. 🙂
Today I am looking forward to running (if the weather allows, we are having crazy storms this week).
This week I am looking forward to NOT driving anywhere this weekend. I finally get an entire weekend at home.
This month I am looking forward to my vacation!
This year I am looking forward to being in both Amber and Nora’s weddings!

Ahhhh you are leaving soooo soooonnnnn!! I’m going to miss you 🙁 But enjoy every last moment of your cruise.
I think the blogger weekend should be in Montreal 😉 because I will be WAY too broke to travel but if you have a weekend for your b-day and I can’t go I’LL BE SO SAD. So… just saying. Montreal. It could work! 😛 I can take you out to a good place to relax and see the city and YES. I’m planning it in my mind already. 😀
If not well, you know, you need to do something awesome for the big 2-5. NYC would be amazing. I love it there & I know you will too. It’s busy and dirty but it’s NYC and has it’s very own charm 🙂

Oh, what a fun post! I definitely remember them from Lisa’s blog.
I love that you have so many fun things to look forward to…. first and foremost your next cruise! (Didn’t you just got back from your last one? 😉 I am glad you’re enjoying summer to the fullest!).

Yay for another vacation! Have fun!
P.S. I kind of look forward to moving too. Just not packing. 🙂

A Blogger weekend? That would be awesome. I wish money weren’t an object so we could have blog meetups on a frequent basis. Sigh. But you definitely need to do something for the big 2-5.
Today: I’m looking forward to finishing another blog post, listening to music, and hitting the gym.
This week: I’m looking forward to enjoying the rest of my vacation from work. It’s my first as a full-time employee, and I’m trying to savor it.
This year: I’m looking forward to setting more into apartment life. My roomie and I love our place, and I look forward to making it more “home.”

oh yay your cruise, it’s so soon, wee!
for me it goes something like this:
today. going home to finish my book. i always love finishing a book and being able to start a new one. i never really take a break, just skip from one story to another and i love it that way.
this week. going to a wedding this weekend. i love weddings. they’re the absolute best.
this month. 4th of july is coming up and it’s one of my favorite holidays, lots of family and good times. woo wee.
this year.

I’m looking forward to moving later this year, too. But I really wish I were settled down in a job that could actually support me living on my own. I always think, “Well, what if my cousin gets married in a few years? I’ll need to be making enough money to get my own place or buy my own house.” And I am nowhere close to being able to do that right now. But I’m glad to see you’ll be doing some traveling next year. I want to do that, too, but I don’t know if I’d feel comfortable traveling with my current job, just because it doesn’t pay well enough. I don’t know. Maybe I could make it work and I’m just not seeing it yet. I’d really like to go to some blogger conventions, though. They look like so much fun.

What a fun idea for a post, I love it 🙂 Have so much fun on your cruise!! I hope it’s rejuvenating! In the immediate future, I’m looking forward to finding out if I have a job interview next week. Crossing my fingers and toes that the answer is yes, ha!

Wow, I can’t believe it’s cruise time again. It seems like just yesterday I was reading recaps of the last one! Time really flew by! Have a great time! I can’t wait to hear about it!
