My Christmas Wishlist

I love a Christmas wishlist. My family is big on gift-giving, and I love it. I also love that we do wish lists, so the whole gift-buying process is very easy. Yes, please tell me exactly what you want this year, and I will buy it for you! This year, my wishlist has some pricey items, so we’ll see how many items appear under the tree for me. I think I’m on the nice list this year.

1) Reading chair ($170) – Isn’t this reading chair so cozy? When I moved, I did not bring my old reading chair because it had been straight-up destroyed by the cats. (They thought it was an excellent scratching post!) And now I have an empty corner of my office that would be perfect for a cozy chair.

2) New pair of TOMS ($50) – I love TOMS. I have a lot of issues with finding shoes that fit well, and TOMS always delivers. It’s time to replace my current pair of TOMS, so I added a neutral-colored pair to my wishlist this year.

3) Couch tray ($23) – How cute is this couch tray? It can hold drinks, snacks, a remote, my phone, and all other kinds of things! It would be very handy since I don’t have any end tables and my coffee table sometimes feels soooo far away when I’m trying to relax on the couch.

4) Makeup organizer ($36) – Now that I have more counter space in my bathroom, I’d love to have an organized space for my makeup. I don’t wear makeup as much as I used to, but maybe I’d make more of an effort if my makeup wasn’t shoved away in a closet, ha.

5) Book sign ($25) – When Meredith on the Currently Reading podcast talked about her “Books Read This Year” sign that she bought from Etsy, I couldn’t open the app fast enough to add one of these signs to my Christmas wishlist. This is one of those gifts that I’ll be buying myself after Christmas if it’s not underneath the tree because it’s just so damn cute and I need it for my bookshelf!

6) Spin shoes ($80) – Before I started having chronic hip pain, I was going to spin class at my gym regularly. Unfortunately, cycling is very hard on the hips/IT band, and it’s just not comfortable for me to do right now. Still, these spin shoes are on my wishlist this year, in the hopes that I’ll be able to get back to spin class in 2026.

7) Anti-gravity chair ($90) – I have a patio I can use! I’d love to make it a more comfortable place to spend an afternoon, reading and sipping a fruity beverage. First things first, I need a chair to sit on, and I want something that I can lounge on. This anti-gravity chair is just what I need!

8) Kindle Paperwhite ($160) – Do I need a new Kindle? Not really. Mine works just fine. But do I want a new Kindle? Yes, I do, especially because finding a cover for my older Kindle is becoming harder and harder these days. And isn’t a wishlist all about things you want?

What’s on your Christmas wishlist this year?

Ooooh those are all fun things! I have mostly books on my wishlist this year. I have no need for a couch tray as I do have end tables, but what a great invention that is. I also kind of want a makeup organizer but in no world do I need one as my makeup is already organized! I better click away from your page so I don’t start adding things to my cart that I don’t need!

Books are the best wishlist items! I usually put some books on my wishlist, but I didn’t this year for some reason.

I hate to tell you that your cats will destroy that beautiful chair as well. LOL!

I saw an ad for those book signs and thought they were so cool! And there are so many styles!

I asked for a new color Kindle even though mine is fine. I thought it. Might be good for studying when I get my pilots license but the screen may still be too small!

My wishlist is mostly shoes (running, Rothy’s, rain boots), a few paint pens, and some other random stuff.

NO THEY WILL NOT, KIM! They are perfect angels who understand they cannot use my chair as a scratching pad ANYMORE. This may be delusional thinking, but it’s MY delusional thinking!

I just got a new kindle because my battery wasn’t holding a charge well, but I got a new one in matcha green that I love! On my wishlist is a cover, which I’ve never had, some striped shirts, and new sneakers.

Yes, wishlists are all about things you want- if there was something you absolutely needed, you would just buy it for yourself. That reading chair DOES look cozy! And I love the couch tray- I think I need one of those (er- I WANT one….)
Do those spin shoes clip in? If you haven’t worn that type before, you will have fun with them- spinning is much easier with the correct equipment.

Yes, they clip in! I have such a hard time getting my shoes in the cages on spin bikes and I never feel fully secure, so these will be really great to receive!

LOL the coffee table feels SO FAR AWAY– I get this. I will literally lie there THIRSTY and just, like, unwilling to sit up and reach for water but wishing I wasn’t thirsty. Maybe I need this tray, too

It takes so much effort! A couch tray would be so handy.

I was expecting to see an Oura ring on your wish list! I should do a post about how much I love mine. There is really one con that comes to mind – it’s not as thin/small as I would like and I think it’s especially pronounced for my child-like fingers. Ha. But I love everything else about it!

I kind of want a new paperwhite, too, but mine still works. Sometimes it won’t turn on and I think maybe it’s died but it comes back to life which is a relief and a disappointment at the same time. Ha.

That anti-gravity chair is a great idea!!!

My “big tech” item of the year is the Kindle, so the Oura ring fell off my radar, ha. I want to hear more about your ring, how you use it, and how you like it vs Apple Watch! Right now, I’m happy with my Apple Watch, but I can be convinced to try an Oura ring!

Your wishlist is so you! Even someone who doesn’t know you at all would get a pretty good idea of you as reader, writer, cat lover, girlie from this list 🙂

Oh I love a good wishlist. These are some good things. That book thing is so cute. I can see why you would want to have that on the shelves.

I have a lot of arctic related things on my wishlist. And I bought it all dumped it in a back and my mom went shopping in my bag. So I have no clue what I am getting but I am getting stuff I need. The husband already had a present so I am excited.
