Stitch Fix, Summer 2025

I haven’t used Stitch Fix in more than three years, but on a whim, I ordered a Fix to be delivered this month. I was ready to refresh my wardrobe with some new items, so I let this be my present to myself for making it through all of my doctor’s appointments over the last two months. Stitch Fix isn’t necessarily a cheap avenue for clothes, but I have had surprisingly good luck with my Fixes, and I find it to be so fun to do a fashion show (fashion show, fashion show at lunch!) whenever the box arrives.

So, without further ado, let’s get into my items!

Nine Britton Striped Knit Top ($29)

I love a striped top, so I was eager to try this on. I liked it a lot, but I was worried it was a little too short, length-wise. I like shirts that are a smidge longer because then I’m less worried that they’ll shrink when I wash them. But the cool thing about Stitch Fix (and I don’t remember this being a thing when I was getting Fixes a few years ago) is that you can now send back a top for a different size! I opted to keep this shirt and size up, which was a great decision.

Staccato V-Neck Knit Tee ($39)

This was another shirt that felt a little short on me, and didn’t make me feel super comfortable. While I don’t love the color (I feel like it washes me out), I did really like the material and pattern. I was going to return this one until I found out I could size up, so that’s what I did. The larger size feels a lot more comfortable!

Market & Spruce Twist Sleeve Knit Tee ($35)

I really liked this shirt! It was super comfortable and I loved the twisted sleeves. What a fun detail! I would have preferred this shirt in another color (I don’t love the blue jeans/blue shirt combo), but this one was an easy keep for me.

Staccato Roll Cuff Dolman Tee ($29)

I was on the fence about this shirt. On the one hand, I loved the color and the material was super comfortable. On the other hand, it felt a little clingy, emphasizing parts of my body that I’d rather not emphasize. Alas, I decided to keep this shirt because of reasons I’ll get to later.

FORTUNE + IVY Mixed Material Shirt ($45)

I really liked this shirt right off the bat! I loved the color, the material, and the detail. It went right into the keep pile. Unfortunately, the first day I wore the shirt, I learned that it gapes a bit and one of the buttons kept coming undone throughout the day. (Not great for my confidence level!) I probably should have sized up, but I didn’t test out how the buttons would hold up when I was sitting down. Sigh.

Market & Spruce Sweetheart Neckline Dress ($59)

Oh goodness gracious, I loved this dress! I am not someone who wears a lot of dresses and I’m not exactly sure when I would wear this dress, but I couldn’t turn it down. It felt so good on me, it had POCKETS, and it’s lightweight enough to wear during the summer. This was a no-brainer: KEEP.

***

As you can see, I ended up keeping all of these items, even though some of the tops weren’t exactly my favorite. That’s how Stitch Fix gets you! You get a 20% discount on the full order if you keep all items, so it was only going to be about $40 cheaper to keep 4 items than to keep all 6. It made more sense to keep everything, especially since there wasn’t anything I straight-up hated.

My next Stitch Fix order will be in mid-September where I am going to ask for clothes for my London trip in early October. It will likely be cold when we’re there (50s/60s), so I definitely need some warmer clothes to get me through.

Have you ever done Stitch Fix?

I love a fashion show! We don’t have Stitch Fix here in Canada, but I love the concept. I already have way too much in my closet though and need to declutter.
I love that buttoned top and the dress looks so pretty on you! Those other tops are good staples though, I’m glad you’re happy with your haul 🙂

I love a good closet declutter! It always feels good to give away clothes that just aren’t right for me anymore. <3

That was a good fix! I love t shirts with an extra detail.

I did SF a long time ago, and I got a couple of good pieces out of it. I also got a lot of not-good pieces, and once things got to the point where I was sending entire fixes back, I cancelled it. However, think that services like this are a good way to shake things up and I like the idea of getting a fix a couple of times a year.

Yes, exactly! I felt the same way near the time I stopped doing Stitch Fix. Like in one box, they sent me the exact same top in two different colors. Thankfully, I really loved the top but come on?? So I think a three-year break was necessary and I’ll probably only do a few of these Fixes before I stop again. My closet just needed a bit of a refresh!

Have you ever done Stitch Fix? I’ve never done it but a friend did. She liked it at first, but gave up on it when she felt all of it looked the same. It seems like a ‘too good to be true’ idea to cynical me.

I totally understand! I don’t think Stitch Fix works for everyone, but I’ve been surprisingly successful with it. Fingers crossed that stays true!

Well now I want a Fix! This was a good one, Stephany! You look great in all the clothes. Bummer about the gaping, though. I have that issue on a couple of things and it’s so frustrating – especially when they otherwise fit well. I also LOVE your jean shorts – where did you get them?!

The shorts are from Old Navy! They are my go-to for any type of jeans.

This was fun! I remember when you did Stitch Fix years ago. I guess it’s fun for me because it’s like shopping vicariously. I love the items you got. That dress will come in handy- it’s always good to have a dress on hand for when you need it. And, like Suzanne, I also love your jean shorts. Are they Old Navy?

I don’t think I can get StitchFix here in Canada, but I’d likely skip it since you know I am all about the thrifted clothes! But I love, love, love the dress. Dresses are my fav.

All of those pieces are so cute on you but especially the dress and the first top.
Lolololol “cold.” I guess that’s “Florida cold” which is the opposite of “Canada hot” (I would die in 110 degrees with 90% humidity). (it occasionally gets to be 100 here but we have no humidity to speak of)

I love the items you got! It almost makes me want to try a fix again. It’d probably been 8 years since I did one. It’s nice that you can change the size and keep the item!

I love the dress. You should wear it anywhere and everywhere, like book club or a girls dinner or anything really! I love dresses and nearly exclusively wear them for work! But I have some casual ones for the weekends, too.

Now I kind of want to try stitch fix again!

Aw that’s a bummer the green button shirt has an issue, because that was my favorite! I was like ooh yes right away when I saw that one. Looks super good on you! I ordered a few fixes several years ago now. It’s a fun concept for sure! Since then I have gone in and shopped the ‘Freestyle” option a few times when I’m looking for a specific item. I like that they carry a variety of brands, so I feel like it can be a good place when you want say, a “black cardigan” but you really don’t necessarily care what specific BRAND it is so long as it is the look you’re looking for. It kind of gives me TJMaxx vibes in that way? Glad you found things to work! Oh one other thing I do like about Stitch Fix is how easy it is to return using the US postal service! I love that I can just reseal the bag and plop it on my front step and go online to schedule a USPS pick up! (I feel like for most online returns I have to go to the UPS or Fedex store.. or even like for Amazon I have to drop it off somewhere.) Oh, and the returns/exchanges are free, which is another huge perk. (Are they still? They were the last time I used it.)

That’s smart to use the Freestyle option! I think I was looking for that and couldn’t find it so I gave up and just ordered a full Fix… I fed right into their hands!

The exchanges I did were free – and they came FAST. Like, I dropped off the package on Monday and had the new items by Friday!

Stitch Fix!! I haven’t;t done this FOREVER, but you have inspired me to get a fall Fix– OF COURSE you kept all of this– it’s so cute. My friend has an awesome hack to keep the whole box and avoid the things you just keep for the discount: order an accessory in every Fix and save them to give as gifts. But all of your box is darling– keepers for sure!

Ohhh, that is really smart about the accessory hack! I’ve always declined any accessories, but now I’m rethinking the method to my madness.

I hope you have a successful Fix!

I have never ever used a service like that. I can see the appeal but I am not sure I would agree with not having any control over it. And lucky me if I really need new outfits I can tell the husband. He finds the greatest stuff I would never pick on my own.
