That’s a Wrap

Well, friends, we have come to the last day of November and the end of NaBloPoMo 2025.

I can’t believe how hesitant I was to do this blog challenge this year! I am so, so glad I decided to do it because not only was it fun, but I met so many new bloggers through it! And that’s the most important part of this challenge. It has introduced me to so many new friends, and that feels so special in this era of blogging. Personal blogs still exist!

I felt a little more “fly by the seat of my pants” this year than previous years. I knew I had a few recurring posts to write, like my book reviews, my London recaps, and Week in the Life. And then I filled in the rest of the month with other posts, sometimes deciding the day before what I was going to write about. (As someone with a strict editorial calendar, this felt very scary!)

The other thing I did was spend a lot less time editing my blog posts. I usually spend a lot of time editing my blog posts, but I just didn’t have the bandwidth for that in November. So many times, I would write the post and immediately publish it, and hope for the best. Did I find typos or sentences I would have worded differently? Sure did. Was it the end of the world? Nope.

I’m going to keep this post short and sweet, even though most of my other posts were the opposite. (Oops. I’ll try to do better next year!) Thanks to everyone for reading and commenting, and you can now breathe a sigh of relief that your feed readers will be a little more manageable!

Congrats on getting through this challenge again! I’ve never done it and kind of doubt I ever will but I admire those of you can post for 30 days straight! Well done!

Congrats on another NaBloPo!!! I will miss the daily posts. FWIW I could not tell that you spent less time editing your posts. I did not see any typos, and the words flowed as usual. So that’s probably a lesson that all of us can learn from. My writing process is 1% getting the words on paper and 99% messing with them once they get there.

I too was much more ‘seat of my pants’ this year, which worked fine for posting, but made it more difficult to read other folks blogs. I missed a lot!

I loved popping over so much and reading a long.

I never though… oh Stephany you really should have edited more here…

I’m VERY glad you participated this year!!! Your posts were some of my favorites to read, and you don’t have to worry about editing them or making them shorter- they were perfect as is.
    i’m sad it’s over!

congrats! I didn’t notice a single typo or anything that needed more editing, just saying. I tried so hard to keep my blogs under 500 words and that meant I spent a ton of time trying to edit things down (I can get long winded and I prefer to finish a story vs chopping it up into different posts). I thought I’d have more posts ready to go in advance than I did and that meant I was scrambling more than I wanted to be.

Well done. I’ve enjoyed reading your posts!

Stephany, I enjoyed reading your posts so much! It was fun to read about your trip to London and about your new apartment. You had cool things to write about! I also enjoyed your DITL posts. Congratulations on a successful NaBloPoMo!

Yay, congrats on NaBLoPoMo! I scheduled so many of mine this year, but I love the freedom of just posting as you go – I wish I had the time to do that! I’ve been remiss in checking out other blogs, so that is on my to-do for December!

Congrats! You should be so proud of yourself for posting every day and not freaking out and making everything perfect. I am a teeny bit sorry that I didn’t join this year, but I know that I would have been stressed about it. Next year I have a plan, though!
