One Photo a Day: February 28 – March 6

Saturday, February 28 – I found Dr. Pepper lounge pants. Do I need anything else in my life?!

Today’s FIG: I’m grateful for a really fun day with my mom and I love spending time with her.

Sunday, March 1 – It was one of those days when I almost forgot to take a photo. Thankfully, Eloise was happy to pose with me. Yes, this is her happy face.

Monday, March 2 – This book brings back so many memories for me! I owned a copy of this book when I was younger and read it so much that the back cover (which opens to a map of Stoneybrook) fell off. My mom bought me a second copy when that happened, which was a big deal because buying new books wasn’t a thing in my family. (We were heavy library users!) I was talking to a friend about this book and, on a whim, decided to see how much it would cost to get a copy. It was on Thriftbooks for less than $10! Sold.

Tuesday, March 3 – I took this picture of Lila and then squealed so much about how cute she was that Lila jumped off the table. Sometimes, my love is a bit overwhelming.

Wednesday, March 4 – Our trivia team name is the Last-Place Besties, and guess what? We came in last place! Self-aware queens.

Thursday, March 5 – I was sitting on the couch watching TV, and Eloise came to snuggle up right next to me. It was the sweetest thing! I love her so much, if it isn’t obvious.

Friday, March 6 – OMGGGGGGG. You guys! My bestie Bri is in a play at our local community theater and yesterday was the opening night. The play was so good, and the kicker is that Bri’s husband Sean is also in the play. (I knew this fun tidbit, but they’re keeping it a secret from other people.) I laughed a lot, and my heart swelled with pride to see Bri up on stage. She was a star. (And Sean was, too! You’d never know this was his first-ever play!)

Elouise is totally smiling in that picture.

I love that you and your mom came in last place, and that’s your team name. Excellent.

That’s so funny because the first thing I though was “Oh, this is the first photo I’ve seen of Eloise where she doesn’t look like she’s plotting to kill me” and then you said it’s her happy face. LOL! Not to be outdone- that is a beautiful photo of Lila.

Yay Bri! And it’s fun to see what her husband looks like after hearing him mentioned a lot on the podcast!

Last place besties – I would belong in your club as I am terrible at trivia. Phil, on the other hand, is amazing at trivia. He has such a steel trap mind and knows so many random facts and remembers the smallest details. My strength is remembering schedules/what’s on our calendar which is NOT a strength of his…

We are soooo bad, Lisa! But we’re there to have fun and learn some new factoids, and that’s what is happening. Maybe if we go enough, we’ll magically get better? IDK!

I LOVE your dr pepper pants!

Ahh! I never had that BSC book! So cool you found a copy! Did you ever have the special like… binder type things? Man, those were so dope. (OMG side bar, I watched the BSC movie (the one that came out when we were kids) and Kristi’s dad is giving MAJOR red flags in it).

I love your trivia team name! Ha! One time we were the only ones on a bowling team and we called ourselves Team Vacancy and the other teams never knew if there’d be a team to play or not 🤭😂

    Congrats to Bri and Sean!!!!

I don’t know if I had the binder-type things from the BSC. I’m actually amazed that I even had THIS book because buying books was not a thing in my family!

The BSC show on Netflix that came out in the last few years was EXCELLENT. I haven’t rewatched the movie in decades, at least!
